1. Who we are
M.A ECE Consultations LTD (trading as Voltforms) is the data controller of personal data processed through the Voltforms website and service. Contact: office@maece.tech.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: full name, email address, login credentials.
- Profile data: company name, industry, niche, location, contact phone — when provided.
- Usage data: generated templates, document inputs, prompts, and selections you make.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, log data, cookies.
- Support data: messages and attachments you send us.
3. Why we process it (purposes and legal basis)
- Provide the service (account creation, template generation) — performance of a contract.
- Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests.
- Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interests.
- Customer support — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- Legal and tax obligations — compliance with legal obligations.
- Marketing communications — consent, where required; you can opt out at any time.
4. Sharing
We share personal data only with:
- Paystack, our payment gateway, for processing payments, subscription billing, fraud prevention, and related financial compliance.
- Hosting, database, analytics, email, and AI subprocessors that operate the platform.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality.
- Authorities where required by applicable law.
5. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations (including tax and accounting), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act and, where applicable, the UK GDPR / EU GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege roles, row-level security on user data) to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk.
8. International transfers
Our subprocessors may process data outside your country, including in the EEA, UK, or US. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
